Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find the right products for home improvement, and ensure excellent service throughout their shopping experience.

You will work with various departments, assist with stocking, processing orders, and supporting checkout. The role emphasizes customer interaction, multitasking, and teamwork in a store environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of computer use (data entry, navigation, basic tasks).
• Must have 6 months of experience with common retail technology (phones, tablets).
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic reliably.
• Able to perform duties that require standing, sitting, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Help customers locate and handle merchandise throughout the store.
• Restock shelves by identifying empty areas and replenishing items.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood).
• Assist customers through shopping and checkout processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
