Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, help them find products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience in-store. You will assist with locating merchandise and processing orders while maintaining a clean, organized department.

This role may involve stocking, cashiering, and cross-training in multiple areas of the store to deliver outstanding service. The position emphasizes friendly communication, reliability, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as stocking

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to stand or sit for long periods and perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
