Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement. You will interact with customers, assist with product selection, and ensure their needs are met in a friendly, professional manner.

Daily tasks include helping customers locate merchandise, loading as needed, and supporting multiple departments as assigned to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand, sit, and perform duties as required.
• Able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by replenishing shelves.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
