Orkin is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our Houston team. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, schedule service visits, and optimize routes to deliver best-in-class pest control service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Customer Service or Sales preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and follow through.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and schedule, confirm and follow up on service appointments.
• Navigate Windows-based and Web-based systems to track routes and schedules.
• Schedule technicians to minimize drive time and suggest alternative routes when appropriate.
• Identify customer concerns through listening and questioning.
• Maintain customer database with accurate information including call details and payments.
• Reschedule unserviced accounts within 24 hours.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and initiatives.
• Safeguard customer privacy and proprietary information.
