Job summary

Horizon Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to empower customers in building and growing their landscape businesses.

You will greet walk-ins and take phone orders, share product knowledge, and provide recommendations to improve profitability while delivering exceptional service. The position focuses on being the face of the sales center, handling walk-ins, phone orders, and will-call service, with a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities to upsell and support

• Good computer and record-keeping skills, and aptitude to learn ever-evolving systems, programs, handheld technology and processes.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items that weigh up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Possess or obtain forklift certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in and phone customers and understand their needs.
• Recommend product solutions and upsell options to improve profitability.
• Collaborate with team and use company resources to sell Horizon's value.
• Prepare sales orders and assist customers in selecting merchandise.
• Make follow-up calls to introduce opportunities and solicit business.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and timely.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales center.
• Assist in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
