Job Title: Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Location: Horizon Menlo Park, CA – 4060 Campbell Ave, Menlo Park, CA 94025

Pay: $28.00 - $29.00 per hour, plus performance bonuses up to $2,500 in summer.

Job Overview

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the primary point of contact for walk‑in and phone customers, facilitating sales of landscape and irrigation products with exceptional service and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Eagerly greet walk‑in and phone customers and listen to understand their needs and challenges.
• Treat customers as business partners by recommending product solutions, upsell options, and complimentary items designed to improve profitability.
• Collaborate with team members and utilize company resources to sell Horizon’s value and provide the best service experience possible.
• Prepare sales orders and assist customers in selecting and loading merchandise.
• Make follow‑up calls to potential and existing customers to introduce new opportunities and solicit additional business.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, well‑organized, and well‑stocked sales center.
• Assist in receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Irrigation experience is a huge plus; knowledge of other landscape products helpful.
