Job summary

Horizon Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to engage customers at the Horizon Roseville location. You will build relationships, share product knowledge, and recommend solutions to help contractors grow their businesses.

The role is front-facing, involving walk-ins and phone orders, with emphasis on positive service, accuracy, and teamwork. Comp Compensation includes hourly wage and performance bonuses. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-service attitude and ability to communicate clearly in speech and writing.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment serving business owners with urgent needs.
• Willing to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally; forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in and phone customers and listen to understand their needs.
• Recommend product solutions, upsell options and complimentary items.
• Collaborate with team and utilize resources to sell Horizon's value and provide excellent service.
• Prepare sales orders and assist customers in selecting and loading merchandise.
• Make follow-up calls to introduce opportunities and solicit additional business.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and timely.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales center and assist in warehouse duties.
