Jim Tom - State Farm Agent in Chicago is hiring a Customer Service Rep/Team Member to support existing policyholders and assist new prospects with protection conversations— not “one-and-done” work. You’ll handle inquiries with accuracy, ask relevant questions, and look for opportunities to upgrade coverage and cross-sell where appropriate.

Licensed in Property & Casualty (Life/Health a plus) and with State Farm agency experience, you’ll join a professional in-office team with regular hours

Qualifications

• P&C license is required (Life/Health a plus).
• State Farm agency experience is required.
• Experience in handling customer inquiries and policy reviews.

About the Role

We’re hiring a State Farm Agent team member to join our office as a generalist. You’ll handle customer service for existing policyholders and support new prospects with protection conversations— not “one-and-done” wor

What You’ll Do

Help Current Policyholders

• Handle customer service inquiries with accuracy and care
• Address gaps during conversations by asking relevant questions
• Offer/maximize discounts when available (where permitted)
• Help customers upgrade coverage to protect what matters
• Pivot to additional products when appropriate

Help New Prospects

Handle new leads from:

• referrals
• call-ins / walk-ins
• social media
• internet leads
• StateFarm.com leads
• and other sources
