Job summary

S and G stores in Warren, MI is seeking a Customer Service Representative for the 3rd shift to support the store manager and ensure the store runs smoothly while following all laws and policies.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing cash and card transactions, maintaining plan-o-gram integrity, stocking and merchandising, and responding quickly to emergencies for safety and security. This role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Retail experience or customer service experience required.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.

• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures in store, outside, and cooler.

Summary

Directly supports the store manager, making sure the store runs efficiently and follows all laws and policies. While also helping to maximize sales and maintain asset control.

3rd Shift Hours

10:00pm-6:00am or 11:00pm-7:00am
NOTE: Hours worked during third shift may qualify for additional pay (Shift differential)

• Ensure foodservice products are fresh and appealing by rotating products appropriately and removing out-of-date products.
• Monitor store activities to ensure that transactions are taking place in the proper manner
• Respond quickly to all emergencies for the safety and security of customers and employees and notifying the appropriate individuals.

Requirements

• Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to periodically handle routine physical task such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time. e.g., in the store, outside, and in the cooler.
• Available to work carious shifts and days of the week as required by the retail environment, including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays.
