Job summary

S&G Stores is seeking a dedicated Store Team Member to support the store manager and help run the store smoothly during the 3rd shift. You will deliver strong customer service, greet customers, and ensure policy compliance while maintaining a clean, organized shopping environment.

You will also handle cash and card transactions with integrity, rotate foodservice products when present, and assist in executing merchandising programs and planograms.

Qualifications

• Retail experience or customer service experience required.
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Able to frequently lift up to 10 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Occasionally climb, squat, kneel, push, or pull as part of tasks.
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures (store, outside, cooler).
• Available to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Summary

Directly supports the store manager, ensuring the store runs efficiently and follows all laws and policies while helping to maximize sales and maintain asset control.

3rd Shift Hours: 10:00pm-6:00am or 11:00pm-7:00am

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service leadership to all customers.
• Acknowledge/greet all customers that come into the store.
• Ensure that all company policies are being followed.
• Promote and maintain a clean and organized store appearance inside and out.
• Efficiently process both cash and card transactions with integrity.
• Ensure all merchandising and marketing programs are implemented properly, maintaining plan‑ogram integrity and appropriate sign placement.
• Ensure foodservice products are fresh and appealing by rotating products appropriately and removing out-of-date products.
• Monitor store activities to ensure that transactions are taking place in the proper manner.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies for the safety and security of customers and employees, notifying the appropriate individuals.

Requirements

• Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required.
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to periodically handle routine physical tasks such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time (e.g., in the store, outside, and in the cooler).
• Available to work various shifts and days of the week as required by the retail environment, including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays.
