Job summary

S&G Stores in Perrysburg, Ohio, is seeking a 3rd shift supervisor to directly support the store manager, ensuring the store runs efficiently, complies with laws and policies, and helps maximize sales.

You will lead customer service, greet shoppers, manage cash and card transactions, uphold merchandising standards, and respond to emergencies, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and a positive store image.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures.

• Provide excellent customer service leadership to all customers.
• Acknowledge/Greet all customers that come into the store.
• Ensure that all company policies are being followed.
• Promote and maintains a clean and organized store appearance inside and out.
• Efficiently process both cash and card transactions with integrity.
• Ensure merchandising and marketing programs are implemented properly, including maintaining plan-o-gram integrity and appropriate sign placement.
• Ensure foodservice products are fresh and appealing by rotating products appropriately and removing out-of-date products.
• Monitor store activities to ensure that transactions are taking place in the proper manner.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies for the safety and security of customers and employees and notifying the appropriate individuals.

10:00pm-6:00am or 11:00pm-7:00am
NOTE: Hours worked during third shift may qualify for additional pay (Shift differential)

Requirements

• Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to periodically handle routine physical task such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time. e.g., in the store, outside, and in the cooler.
• Available to work carious shifts and days of the week as required by the retail environment, including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays.
