Job summary

S&G Stores in Toledo, OH seeks a shift supervisor to directly support the store manager, ensuring smooth operation, policy adherence, and service leadership. This role helps maximize sales and maintain asset control.

3rd shift hours are 10:00pm–6:00am or 11:00pm–7:00am, with potential shift differential. The ideal candidate has retail or customer service experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work weekends.

• Ensure foodservice products are fresh by rotating and removing out-of-date items.
• Monitor store activities to ensure proper transactions.
• Respond quickly to emergencies for safety of customers and employees.

• Monitor store activities to ensure that transactions are taking place in the proper manner
• Respond quickly to all emergencies for the safety and security of customers and employees and notifying the appropriate individuals.

Requirements

• Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to periodically handle routine physical task such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time. e.g., in the store, outside, and in the cooler.
• Available to work carious shifts and days of the week as required by the retail environment, including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays.
