Job summary

S and G stores in Ohio is seeking an assistant-store-leader to support the store manager, ensuring smooth daily operations, excellent customer service, and compliance with policies.

This role involves greeting customers, maintaining a clean store, handling transactions, merchandising, and being able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand all shifts. Availability on weekends and holidays is expected.

• Ensure foodservice products are fresh and appealing by rotating products appropriately and removing out-of-date products.
• Monitor store activities to ensure that transactions are taking place in the proper manner.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies for the safety and security of customers and employees and notifying the appropriate individuals.

Requirements

• Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to periodically handle routine physical tasks such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time, e.g., in the store, outside, and in the cooler.
• Available to work various shifts and days of the week as required by the retail environment, including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays.
