Job summary

S&G Stores in Findlay, OH is seeking a Customer Service Lead to directly support the store manager, helping the store run efficiently, follow laws and policies, and maximize sales.

You will supervise front-line staff, ensure asset protection, merchandise presentation, and handle cash transactions with integrity while working in varying temperatures and shifting schedules including weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings and busy periods/holidays.

• Ensure foodservice products are fresh and appealing by rotating products appropriately and removing out-of-date products.
• Monitor store activities to ensure that transactions are taking place in the proper manner.
• Respond quickly to all emergencies for the safety and security of customers and employees and notifying the appropriate individuals.

Requirements

• Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to periodically handle routine physical task such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time. e.g., in the store, outside, and in the cooler.
• Available to work carious shifts and days of the week as required by the retail environment, including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays.
