Job summary

Stopandgo, SNG, Stop and Go, S&G, Stop and go stores in Romulus, MI is seeking a store operations role to directly support the store manager, help run the day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with laws and policies.

You will lead customer service, greet customers, uphold merchandising standards, handle cash and card transactions, rotate foodservice items, restock, and assist with safety and emergencies. This role requires physical stamina and flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds
• Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds
• Able to stand for an entire shift
• Ability to periodically handle routine physical task such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time
• Available to work various shifts and days including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays

• Promote and maintains a clean and organized store appearance inside and out.
• Efficiently process both cash and card transactions with integrity.
• Ensure all merchandising and marketing programs are implemented properly. Including maintaining plan-o-gram integrity and appropriate sign placement.
• Ensure foodservice products are fresh and appealing by rotating products appropriately and removing out-of-date products.
• Monitor store activities to ensure that transactions are taking place in the proper manner
• Respond quickly to all emergencies for the safety and security of customers and employees and notifying the appropriate individuals.
• Unloading trucks for restocking the store.
