Job summary

S and G stores is seeking a Shift Lead to partner with the Store Manager to run daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with policies and laws while maximizing sales.

You will oversee customer service, merchandising, cash handling, safety, and store appearance, working weekends and holidays as needed in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.

A Shift Lead at S&G serves as direct support of the store manager; ensures that the store operates efficiently and in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and Company policies; properly manages employees and works closely with Store Manager to ensure the store maximizes sales and profits while maintaining asset controls

Requirements:

• Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
• Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds.
• Able to stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to periodically handle routine physical task such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time. e.g., in the store, outside, and in the cooler.
• Available to work carious shifts and days of the week as required by the retail environment, including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays.
