SEL Engineering Services in Fairview Heights, IL seeks a Customer Service Representative to support our Sales and Customer Service OEM team. You will provide world-class customer care, handle orders, quotes, RMAs, and pricing, and coordinate with sales on deliverables.

The role requires strong communication, proofreading, and documentation skills, plus the ability to learn product concepts and work collaboratively in a team. Regional travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories seeks a Customer Service Representative to support our Sales and Customer Service OEM team.

We are looking for a values-driven, positive, and motivated professional who embodies strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills and will strive to provide excellent service to our customers.

Typical day responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, a typical day might include the following:

• Providing world-class customer care to both internal and external customers.
• Engaging in regional customer support activities, including accurate entry of orders & quotes, RMA's, pricing negotiation, contract negotiation, and creation/maintenance of customer unique specifications.
• Communicating with customers and sales representatives on deliverables and any additional customer service issues with some work direction from supervisor and peers.
• Complete and pass required Customer Service Representative process certifications provided by SEL.
• Using judgment skills, prior experience, and company policies and procedures to resolve standard and in-region problems.
• Assisting with customer feedback tracking and driving to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Pay Range Data

$28.00 - $43.00 per hour. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
