Job summary

CheckSmart in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Customer Service Representative to assist customers with check cashing, money transfers, payments, and daily transactions. You’ll work in a fast-paced, high‑performing environment while building lasting relationships and delivering accurate service in person.

You’ll receive hands-on training, coaching, and opportunities for advancement across the Community Choice Financial Family of Brands, with a strong focus on customer care and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Proficiency with phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods; may lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers to cultivate lasting relationships and drive repeat business.
• Review, validate, and process customer transactions with accuracy.
• Maximize customer success by offering personalized financial services.
• Enter and maintain customer information in a POS system with precision.
• Assist in scheduling and handling payments and appointments as needed.

• Participate in on-site tasks, store errands, and community events.
