Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products and services for home improvement needs. The role involves assisting customers, stocking shelves, and supporting various store departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience using a computer.
• Minimum 6 months experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
