Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products for home improvement. You’ll listen, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure a smooth shopping experience in-store.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer experience or equivalent
• 6 months experience with common retail technology
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Diligently stock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service delivery
• Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
