Job summary

Lowe’s is looking for a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products for home improvement projects. You’ll interact with shoppers, direct them to the right departments, and ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.

The role includes stocking, answering questions, processing orders, and possibly assisting across departments. A part‑time schedule and benefits are available where offered by Lowe’s.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Able to perform duties requiring prolonged standing or sitting.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/thread pipe, cut/bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
