Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Huntsville, AL. You will welcome customers, help them find products and services for home improvements, and deliver friendly, professional service throughout the shopping experience.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience with retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand, sit, and perform duties for long periods.
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock merchandise by identifying empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
