Job summary

Motion Industries in Logan, Utah is seeking a Customer Service Representative to accurately fulfill customer orders and handle incoming calls. Under close supervision, you will enter orders, respond to inquiries, and quote products to customers.

You will work to influence gross profit through pricing within set parameters, build relationships for repeat business, and coordinate with accounts to ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and zero to three years of related experience.
• Reliability, organization and attention to detail are required.
• Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening.
• Moderate computer skills and ability to use business systems and search capabilities.
• Product knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Places customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk in.
• Negotiates sale and purchase price within parameters to influence gross profit.
• May adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Maintains inventory levels for customers by ordering items as needed.
• Places orders up to specified limits without approval.
• Sourcing products from branch, distribution center, or supplier inventories.
• Determines cost-effective shipping methods for customer orders.
• Partners with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
