Job summary

Walman Optical is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Order Clerk) in Kent, WA. The role centers on building strong customer and vendor relationships and managing quotations, stock orders, returns and purchase orders, while coordinating with departments for optimal service.

Responsibilities include handling price quotations, orders, and changes, assisting with lens and frame processing, and ensuring accurate data management and timely communication with customers and labs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience in call center, hospitality or related setting.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to maintain composure with difficult customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic PC skills including MS Office (Word & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for price quotations, orders, changes, and cancellations from customers and labs.
• Build rapport with customers and provide the best possible service.
• Sort, clean, and repack overstock/defective lenses and accessories for vendor returns.
• Assist in assembling and labeling frames for monthly auto-kit mailings and maintain related lists.
• Use a PC to retrieve customer information, stock status, and order status; input changes accordingly.
• Coordinate with vendors for order status and follow up on quotations and delivery.
