Job summary

Walman Optical is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Order Clerk) to handle requests for price quotations, orders, modifications, and returns, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and labs.

You will use a PC to access customer and stock data, process quotations, and coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate, timely service. A high school diploma and 1+ year in customer service are required, with proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience in customer service, hospitality or call center environment.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to maintain composure with difficult customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for price quotations, orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations from customers and labs.
• Build rapport with customers and provide the best possible service.
• Receive, sort, clean, and repack overstock and defective lenses, frames, and accessories for vendor returns with proper documentation.
• Assist in assembling, packaging, and labeling frames for monthly auto-kit mailings and maintain related customer lists.
• Use a PC to retrieve customer and stock information, orders status, and input changes accurately.
