Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a Distribution Clerk (Inventory and Lens Order) in Kent, WA. The role focuses on accurate entry of lens and frame orders and timely processing to support Rx and stock fulfillment.

You will perform cycle counts, manage inventory reports, verify Rx accuracy before lab processing, and coordinate with vendors. The position emphasizes detail, reliability, and teamwork in a distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of experience working in a distribution/logistics environment.
• Basic use of laptop, keyboard and 10-key typing.
• High attention to detail and strong reading, writing, and verbal skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Enter lens and/or frame purchase orders accurately into the system for electronic transmission to vendors.
• Retrieve products from inventory for Rx/stock processing.
• Access and interpret reports on inventory levels, purchase orders and fill rates.
• Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory.
• Follow company promotions, policies and processes in order-entry tasks.
• Verify Rx accuracy before lab processing and match vendor shipping memos and invoices.
• Maintain lab software and keep the workspace neat and organized.
• Adhere to attendance and safety rules and protect confidential information.
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced staff as needed.
• Assist others to meet deadlines and maintain a balanced workload.
