Job summary

Walman Optical, part of EssilorLuxottica, is hiring a Distribution Clerk (Inventory and Lens Order) for our Kent, WA location. You will enter lens and frame purchase orders and pull stock items for Rx and inventory processing, ensuring timely, accurate fulfillment for our labs and customers.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, reading and interpreting stock reports, matching vendor memos and invoices, and maintaining a neat work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of experience working in a distribution/logistics environment.
• Basic use of laptop, keyboard and 10-key typing.
• High attention to detail.
• Good reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate keying of lens and/or frame purchase orders into the computer for electronic transmission to vendors.
• Access and interpret reports on inventory levels, purchase orders, fill rates, etc.
• Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory.
• Match vendor shipping memos and invoices and follow branch and accounting procedures for submitting documents for payment.
• Maintains lab operating system software update/procedures manual and keeps work area neat, clean, and organized.
