Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, Kent, WA, is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Order Clerk) to manage quotes, orders and returns from labs and customers. You will coordinate with vendors, maintain records, and ensure accurate order processing.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1+ year in customer service, excellent communication, and basic PC skills (MS Office). Pay range is $19.63–$27.18 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in customer service, hospitality or call center.
• Excellent phone etiquette and composure with difficult customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic PC skills including MS Office; Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receive requests for price quotations, orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations from customers and labs.
• Build and maintain rapport with customers to provide the best possible service.
• Handle returns/defects, process documentation and coordinate with vendors.
• Assist in assembly and packaging tasks for mailings and maintain customer lists.
• Use a PC to retrieve customer information, stock status, and order details; update records.
• Collaborate with vendors on order status and delivery information.
