Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and handle order entry.
• Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in (counter sales).
• Influence gross profit by negotiating price and purchase price within approved parameters.
• May adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Orders items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for customers.
• Determine the most cost effective shipping method for customer orders.
• Partner with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expedites backorders and may pull inventory for shipment; may handle returns.
