Job summary

Motion is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Tampa, FL to accurately fulfill customer orders and manage incoming calls. You will respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and enter orders while negotiating pricing within authorized parameters to maximize gross profit.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory levels, coordinating shipping, expediting backorders, and supporting return processing. A high school diploma or GED is required with 0–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–3 years of related experience.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening) and reliability are essential.
• Moderate computer skills; ability to use business systems and search for products online.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer inquiries about products and provides quotes.
• Processes orders via telephone, fax, email, or walk-in; enters orders accurately.
• Negotiates pricing within authorized parameters to support gross profit.
• Builds relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Ensures inventory levels are adequate and places orders as needed for customers.
• Determines cost-effective shipping methods and coordinates with Account Representatives.
• Handles backorders, returns, and supports other duties as assigned.
