Qualifications

• Previous cashier or front-end experience is required.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs especially during times of high volume and/or stress.
• Must be able to read and do simple math problems.
• Wants to be part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within 10 feet, assist cashiers, and respond to questions.
• Open additional registers when three or more customers are in line.
• Create and enforce work schedules for front-end personnel.
• Assist with all front-end sales transactions in compliance with company policies.
• Process Western Union and Money Order transactions.
• Inform store management of pricing issues and POS problems.
• Handle refunds, overrides, and cash-handling requests.
