Job summary

CJ Logistics Corporation is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to be the first point of contact at the Welcome Center or Customer Service Office. You will manage communications, scheduling, paperwork, and support both shipping and receiving in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of related work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and resolve inquiries with internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate appointment schedules and issue resolutions to customers and team.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and warehouse staff for dock and yard activities.
• Process inbound/outbound schedules using WMS and standard office software.
• Prepare and verify shipping/receiving documents for accuracy.
• Assign dock doors and update yard reports for trailer inventory.
• Sign drivers in/out, verifying IDs and paperwork.
• Reconcile inbound shipments with packing slips and manage drop-lot activities.
• Schedule carrier appointments and support shipping/receiving tasks.
• Assist as needed across the team and report discrepancies.
• Escalate issues to leadership to ensure compliance.
• Complete required training and follow safety, operational, and record-keeping policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting.
• Perform duties safely, timely, and professionally.
• Other duties as assigned.
