Job summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for customers at the Welcome Center or Customer Service Office. You will manage communications, maintain schedules, process paperwork, and support shipping and receiving operations in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, sharing updates with customers and team members, coordinating with carriers and warehouse staff, and ensuring all documents are accurate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to internal and external stakeholders; handle inquiries and resolve issues.
• Communicate appointment schedules, status updates, and issue resolutions to customers and team members.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and warehouse personnel for dock and yard activities.
• Process and maintain inbound/outbound schedules using WMS and standard office software.
• Prepare and verify shipping/receiving documents; ensure accuracy.
• Sign drivers in and out, verifying ID and paperwork accuracy.
• Reconcile inbound shipments with packing slips and manage drop lot activities.
• Process and schedule all carrier appointments.
• Support shipping and receiving functions as needed; flex across the team.
• Report errors or discrepancies to leadership to ensure accuracy.
