Job summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to act as the main point of contact for drivers at the Welcome Center or Shipping/Receiving Office. You will verify shipments, coordinate yard and dock activities, and ensure all shipping documentation is accurate.

The role supports logistics operations, provides customer service, and upholds inventory integrity in a hybrid warehouse/office environment. Prior shipping/receiving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic math, reading, and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and sign drivers in and out of the facility; verify and complete paperwork.
• Assign dock doors to inbound/outbound loads; coordinate with yard spotters and warehouse teams.
• Process Bills of Lading and related shipping/receiving documents; maintain accurate records.
• Maintain real-time door and yard reports for trailer inventory.
• Communicate shipment issues or scheduling changes to management, drivers, and warehouse teams.
