Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate in the United States to welcome customers, answer questions, and help them find the right products for their home improvement needs with friendly, professional service.

You will assist customers with locating merchandise, process orders and deliveries, stock shelves, and support store operations across departments such as Appliances, Hardware, and Tools, with opportunities to learn new trade skills.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer with basic data entry.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by identifying empty shelf areas and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other areas to deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., tint paint, cut pipes, bundle wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
