Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Customer Service Associate in the United States to welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement solutions. You’ll interact with shoppers throughout the day, assist with product selection, and ensure customer needs are met with friendly service.

The role covers various departments and emphasizes teamwork, training across areas, and on-the-job learning while maintaining store standards and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand, sit, and perform duties as needed.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock merchandise by checking shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time receipt.
• Cross-train in other store areas to optimize customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint tint/mix, pipe work, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
