Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative in the Boston area. You will provide top-notch service to customers, assist with rentals using U-Scan technology, and help move and inspect equipment on site.

The role offers on-the-job education, potential signing bonuses, and a clear path for advancement within a supportive team. Compensation is hourly, with eligible benefits and safety training included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and educate customers about offerings.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; propane and forklift certifications offered.
