CheckSmart in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Customer Service Representative to help customers access short-term financial services. You will process transactions, build relationships, and contribute to a high-performance team in a fast-paced store environment.

The role offers hands-on training, development opportunities across multiple brands, and a comprehensive benefits package. A full-time schedule including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Proficiency with phones, POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required.
• Ability to stand most of the shift and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers to cultivate lasting relationships that drive repeat business.
• Review, validate, and process customer transactions with accuracy.
• Enter and maintain customer information in a POS system.
• Assist in customer account management and collections by accepting payments and managing appointments.
• Participate in on-site activities and community events.
• Maintain store appearance and security procedures.
• Full-time schedule including weekends (40 hours per week).
