Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help run daily store operations, from merchandising to front-end support. You will be cross-trained to assist at the cash register and perform front-end duties as needed.

You will handle merchandise reception, stocking, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment while delivering excellent customer service and accurate cash handling. This role emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and safety in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash, and keep areas neat.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash and company assets security.
• Other duties as assigned.
