Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to operate the cash register and switch to front-end duties as needed.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking, cleaning, and ensuring a safe, friendly shopping environment while handling cash and protecting assets. This role emphasizes teamwork and strong customer service skills in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
