Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to help manage daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will keep a clean, welcoming environment and be cross-trained to support the cash register and front-end duties when needed.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking and merchandising, maintaining store cleanliness, handling sales transactions, and safeguarding cash and assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a high level of integrity.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and general presentation.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
