Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will help maintain a clean, welcoming environment and be cross-trained to support the cash register and front-end duties as needed.

The role emphasizes friendly interactions, safety, accuracy in cash handling, and teamwork with leaders and coworkers. A high school diploma is preferred and prior retail experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or similar environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, restocking as required.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers, associates and leaders.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
