Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will work at the cash register and help front-end tasks as needed in a friendly, tidy environment.

This role emphasizes excellent service, strong communication, and reliability. You’ll handle transactions, maintain cash security, stock shelves, and keep store areas clean, while upholding safety and integrity in a diverse team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations from merchandising to front-end duties.
• Handle sales transactions and maintain cash register operations.
• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restrooms and floors.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
