Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, merchandising, and customer assistance. The role includes cash register support, maintaining a clean, welcoming environment, and cross-training across front-end duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the store, bathrooms, floors, and common areas.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintaining cash security and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
