Family Dollar Stores Of West Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, maintain safety and stock levels, and help unload merchandise.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, plus physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a part-time position in Buckhannon, WV, with opportunities to grow within the store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and waste management.
• Other duties as assigned.
