Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for their home improvement needs. You will engage with customers throughout the day, assist in locating merchandise, and ensure customer needs are met with friendly service.

Role includes handling duties in multiple departments, potential bilingual support, and opportunities to learn new trades. This position is part-time and located at a Lowe's store, with emphasis on teamwork and customer

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction)
• Able to stand for long periods and perform job duties
• Capable of lifting 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately
• Cross-train in other areas to support customer service
• Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., paint tinting, cutting, threading pipes, etc.)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
