Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Illinois to warmly welcome customers, help them find products, and support home improvement needs. You will assist with locating items, stocking, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the shopping journey.

Daily tasks include answering questions, processing orders, and potentially helping in multiple departments while maintaining a friendly, efficient environment for shoppers.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties with standing and other activities; lifts up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to improve service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department per customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
