Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome and assist customers with home improvement needs, helping them find products and services. You will engage with customers, answer questions, and ensure their in-store experience is positive.

The role includes potential department assignments, flexible schedules, and opportunities to learn a variety of trades. This position emphasizes customer care and teamwork, with various in-store responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to perform duties with prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-train in other areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
