Responsibilities

• Provide friendly service and maintain good relationships with all internal and external customers.
• Work in a collaborative spirit to ensure the success of the business.
• Provide hospitality to Southwest customers at the counter, baggage service desk, and gate.
• Manage all aspects of ticketing and check‑in by operating the computerized sales process, baggage handling, reservations, and resolving complaints and related issues.
• Greet and handle customers in a courteous and friendly manner, using cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers and coupons as payment methods for tickets, calculate bills, give change and handle daily transactions.
• Inspect baggage and luggage, answer phone for inquiries, resolve problems or complaints, assist as needed.
• Handle cancellations, delays, lost, delayed or damaged flights promptly in accordance with company guidelines.
• Provide current and accurate airfares, schedules, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and respond to general inquiries from customers and other visitors to the airport.
• Complete required forms and reports, write error reports and complaints as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by senior staff.
