Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Project Specialist in Itasca, IL to work with customers on large projects, meet deadlines and manage complex orders. You will serve as the liaison between vendor and customer to ensure material arrives on site when needed.

Your responsibilities include order entry, preparing material submittals, handling returns and credits, providing reporting, coordinating deliveries, and processing job lot billing.

Qualifications

• High School education required; a four-year degree preferred.
• 2+ years of project-related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform order entry on large project orders.
• Prepare and revise material submittals for customers.
• Handle returns and credits.
• Provide reporting to customers and suppliers using project software.
• Coordinate item deliveries to ensure on-time performance.
• Execute job lot billing and process invoices for payment.
